I was born in Charleston, WV and raised in Richmond, VA. I moved to the Lake Gaston region in 2005 while in my senior semester at Virginia Commonwealth University. I went on to graduate from VCU in 2006 with a business degree specializing in Real Estate and Land Development. Below is a snapshot of my professional history

Since moving to the Lake Gaston region, I married my beautiful wife Angel and have had the blessing of bringing our three wonderful children into the world. I love being a father and husband! Being a family man is what drives me to be successful at everything that I pursue. As a member of the local community I give of my time in multiple areas. I have volunteered my time to coach multiple youth sports at both the county level and through local churches. As a youth I loved to play sports, so when I saw the need in our local community I could not resist the opportunity to help. I have also proudly served on the Board of Directors of the Lake Gaston Regional Chamber of Commerce since 2012. During that time, with the help of the other board members and our wonderful director, we have implemented many marketing strategies and overseen some wonderful growth in the business community and beyond. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time serving on the board and feel that it has given me a much more personal investment in the continuing success and growth of our community.
Given my strong connection to the community, real estate related degree field, and years of contracting experience, I am confident that I can successfully guide any perspective buyer or seller of properties in the area. Scott is amazing... he took on my issues involving a messy multi-owner sale and blazed a path through while realizing that I was asking him for help without any tangible means for him to get paid. Let me explain: I contacted Scott to ask him for advice and representation as my agent when I tried to sell my cabin on Lake Gaston. Through his guidance, I realized he was giving me the benefit of his years of experience and that I would possibly be able to engage him as my agent, but that decision was in the future. He listened and nailed down all the issues my situation was experiencing. He advised meon my options and stayed with me through the coordination I was making with the other owners. Bottom line, I wasn't able to bring him under contract, so he didn't get paid by me. He didn't get a dime for his efforts, which were probably 12 hours of research and work on his part. He didn't mind as he provides a service, he'd say... Well, I sure appreciated his work and would recommend him to anyone in the market.

I cannot say enough great things about Scott. He made this process so easy for me. I no longer live in the area, but he was there for me every step of the way. He's not only knowledgeable about the industry but is patient, incredibly responsive and goes above and beyond!
